An Evening with the House of Castello
Castello® hosted two dinners featuring celebrity Chef Beau MacMillan at Chicago’s Metropolitan Club and Tampa’s Tampa Palms Golf and Country Club. Chef “Beau Mac” is the Executive Chef of the Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain, listed as one of the “Top 100 Restaurants in the U.S.” by Gourmet magazine. He beat Bobby Flay in Iron Chef America in Battle American Kobe Beef. Who better to design a delicious menu featuring the range of Castello® Blue and Havarti Cheeses?
While dinner was served, Chef Beau showed guests how to recreate his five course meal, demonstrating dishes such as Beer, Cheese and Bacon Soup, Steak Tartare “Buffalo Style,” and Blue Cheese Panna Cotta. View the recipes here!
Guests received gift bags with wedges of Castello® Cheese and recipe cards so that they could try Beau’s recipes, as well as some of ours, for themselves.
They also entered a raffle to win Wine and Cheese gift baskets, a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label and a Ross Simons Sapphire necklace. What a night!
