Stirrup Cup

A stirrup cup is really the “parting cup” that is given to each fox hunter whose feet have left the ground and settled in the stirrups, ready to ride. The cups themselves are wonderfully distinctive. Most often they are silver cups resting atop a fox head.
Ingredients
- 1 cup (8-ounces) brandy
- 1 cup (8-ounces) cherry brandy
- Juice of 4 lemons
- 2 ½ tablespoons bar or super fine sugar
Directions
Shake all the ingredients with ice and pour over ice cubes in old-fashioned glasses.
